What side effects can this medication cause?
Possible side effects from dicyclomine include:
diarrhea or loose stools
nausea
abdominal pain
vomiting
Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
headache, dizziness or lightheadedness
weakness or nervousness
blurred vision, large pupils
rash or itching
difficulty urinating
decreased sweating
nasal congestion, stuffiness or a dry mouth
If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:
an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives)
an irregular or fast heart rate
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
